The Chainsmokers share new video for ‘All We Know’

The US DJ duo's latest visual offering is a more sombre affair than usual

The Chainsmokers have shared the new video for their single, ‘All We Know’.

The song, which features guest vocals from Texan songwriter Phoebe Ryan, is taken from the New York DJ duo’s second EP, ‘Collage’. ‘All We Know’ was initially released as a single back in September, but has only just received the video treatment.

In the new clip for ‘All We Know’ – directed by Rory Kramer – a man receives some bad news on the telephone about a loved one, and reacts by leaving his flat and his girlfriend behind to embark on a journey, seemingly inspired by his torment. The main character is then followed by a camera as he travels through the night, seemingly coming to terms with the news that he’s just been given. The Chainsmokers themselves can be seen during a brief cameo at 00:45 in.

Earlier this week, Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland recorded a cover of The Chainsmokers’ ‘Closer’ with the Florida band Boyce Avenue.

The duo later reacted positively to the cover via Twitter, writing: “Hey and you sound awesome! So cool y’all did that”.
