Glastonbury fans offered new chance to register

Demand forces organisers to give festival-goers second opportunity

I'm REALLY worried about this turn around. I don’t want the last 37,000 tickets that are available going to the people who couldn’t be bothered to register in the 6 week period available earlier in the year, if you wanted to go you'd have registered and you'd have been up with the rest of us on Sunday morning (although finding out that I didn’t have to get up early at all is a bit of a kick in the nuts). I don’t want people to go to Glasto because "there are tickets still available", I want people to go that are like me and my friends who have been going for the last 5 festivals and dealing with the hideous weather (and the questionable headliners, Arctic Monkeys included!), waking up at stupid o'clock on a Sunday morning, hammering the F5 button and redialing like a mad person. I guess I'm just going to have to wait and see which is the worst element this year, the weather, the line up or the crowd. I can deal with dodgy weather and music that isn’t to my taste but if Glasto gets swamped by 37,000 tent robbing chavs I wont be happy!
