darkdestroyer: Just so you know Be Here Now got the No 2 in the USA but it hardly opened the floodgates for them do it. And also Keane's last album got to No 4 in the USA, so what does that tell you? The world doesn't love Oasis, but they are a marketing dream and first week sales in the USA are traditionally very high. Sadly, it will drop like a stone next week, as most UK albums do there. Thankfully I saw Oasis 7 times between 1993-1997 when they were relevant and it wasn't just the Noel & Liam show (circus).

The sound at Wembley Stadium is bad enough without Oasis playing there. Will pencil those gigs in as the ones to avoid next year. No doubt Noel will hype it up to the hilt to generate interest, just like he did with another very average album.
