He's such an untalented unfunny man, unable to make a sketch show where he doesn't just wiggle his fat belly around.

The Enemy 'grow a pair' for new album

Tom Clarke is 'absolutely buzzing' about what 2009 has in store for the band

Fri 02 Jan, 2009

Great lyrics, limited musicality.Im sure i'll buy album 2, I just hope these guys move on from the streets stuff more or less and get themselves a new place in rock. To me the debut was a bit too much of a sulk to be a great debut, the sound was too underproduced, too simplistic. The lyrics were consistantly great tho, but they don't have much of a sound, akin the Arctic Monkeys or Oasis. (I don't listen to much 'indie' btw)Maybe because Oasis have spoiled me and I like my working class bands to have a wall of sound like a tsanami or maybe the Enemy need something to set them apart from all the other indie bands nobody gives a dam about other than just quality of their song manship. Heres hoping.

U2 singer receives peace honour

Bono is awarded for helping to tackle African poverty

Sat 13 Dec, 2008

Comments (1)

In before the hate.Think about it, this man is using his platform to help the world, he deserves recognition. Just because we arn't all as well positioned as Bono to help those people in poverty doesn't mean we need to be asses about it.And don't draw the line between politics and music so much. Music has always been about politics, rock and roll was a cultural response to the political envrionment at the time, and this has always been the case. I find Bono a bit of a arrogent man sometimes, I still respect what hes trying to do in Africa, and you should too.

New Oasis album to be released via 'Guitar Hero' game

You can shred along with 'Dig Out Your Soul'

Fri 17 Oct, 2008

Comments (1)

To be fair, you could play Falling Down, Im Outta Time and The Shock Of Lightening (and some others) after about a month of playing guitar. I don't see why people don't just learn the real thing. At least for music like this. Sure for more complex rhymth guitar stuff GH makes you look cooler faster. But nothing beats the real thing, or an oasis song on acoustic.

Coldplay to release new EP this year

Plus the band will release an album next winter

Mon 01 Sep, 2008

I think Jimmy Gervais's humour is so annoying and forced. I do however love coldplay and care more about their work than Oasis or U2 (both this october)Why did you guys even bother commenting, you had nothing worth saying.

Mark Ronson lashes out at Noel Gallagher

Producer hits back at Oasis leader over 'three chords' comment

Sun 17 Aug, 2008

Comments (1)

I love Noel Galligar's comments, hes very aware what hes doing, as is Liam. I'd love to be so untouchable I could attack everyone verbally. It's funnier too because Oasis never were as good a band as they claim to be and they have such a really narrow minded view of music. Being that their work consists of the Stones, the Beatles and the Sex Pistols.Even so, Mark Ronson redid Just by Radiohead, and its the most stonking rubbish I've heard in a long time. Why oh why did he think the song would convert well into a pop song and why doesn't he pen some real tunes instead of leaching from others?

Petition asking Bono to retire launches

Nearly $400 has been pledged so far

Fri 01 Aug, 2008

Comments (1)

Rich people indeed do need to give up all their riches to get into heaven according to the bible. But if bono gave up his money he wouldn't be relivent or influensial enough to attend and pressure at various politicians summits. Bono believes in what hes doing, so do Coldplay, R.E.M, Radiohead ectra... if I had their money I'd certainly be trying to save the world if I felt I had the influence. It's not cheap self publicity hes going for, its a misconception that it is. Everyone who thinks Bono raising awareness to the worlds problems is a bad thing is completely misguided and foolish individual.

Keane 'ignore the rules of good taste' for third album

Band reveal all about 'Under The Iron Sea' follow-up

Fri 01 Aug, 2008

Comments (1)

Oh dear, I hate the comments that preach tollerance yet are just as ill informed and assuming as the comment before. To me I can see why people might like Keane, but their no coldplay. The albums are all full of filler bar the singles. They've had some great moments, Bedshaped and A Bad Dream for example. But their albums tend to be too long and too full of fluffy meaningless stuff, with a hard hitting single now and then.A great singles band tho and I'll propably buy this.

Ash to continue album boycott with new release

Trio stick to 'no more LPs' pledge

Mon 28 Jul, 2008

Comments (1)

The idea of getting some new music from Ash consistantly is pretty cool. The problem is that so far weve been waiting 2 years, so its hardly consistant. May as well be an album, I like albums, they provide a sense of art and cohesion that you cant get in numerious singles.

Thom Yorke says his lyrics are 'nonsense' as Radiohead return to UK

Band kick off carbon-friendly British dates with London gig

Tue 24 Jun, 2008

Comments (1)

I'm a real radiohead fan, I love all of their material. Had I attended this gig I would have been disapointed. They played none of their classic songs pre-millenia. The point of course is that Radiohead should try to please everyone, just Karma Police (which can hardly be accused of being as convensional as Creep) and Fake Plastic Tree's would have made this set list.

Coldplay album set to top UK chart

'Viva La Vida..' trounces rivals - despite being out for just a day

Fri 13 Jun, 2008

Comments (1)

Why are people so pretensious to refer to Coldplay as unstimulating and easy listening?I don't understand you at all, Coldplay is best played loud. Their a rock band, they refer to themselves as very heavy soft rock. Their music has so much meaning and emotion they cannot possibly be pedestrian and unoffensive.

The Mighty Boosh: 'We're taking band tips from Muse'

Comedy team promise 'stupidly elaborate odyssey' for live shows

Wed 11 Jun, 2008

Comments (1)

I honestly don't think The Mighty Boosh is funny at all, I sat and I watched and I wondered if this was some kinda Saturday night Primival kinda family show. Because the humour is so dam tepid and wimpy. Setting it in a zoo just made me sum up my feelings on TMB, its a show for babies, better served on Cbeebies that some decent TV channel. Both of them are arrogent unfunny idiots and the hype circus that surrounds them and turned them into more of a band act than any kind of respectable comedy act is just ludicrous. Comedy has gone downhill so badly this decade well TV in general.

Dcajoe - With all due respect, how do you push the bar further than Kid A? less lyrics, more computers... ectra? RH did the right thing, making quality albums wether or not they top the last. I prefer HTTT to Kid A anyway (both have filled tho)I haven't heard all of VLV yet, just the 2 released singles but im sure this is the sound of a new mature Coldplay still being fresh and intresting. This and the Verve's new album are sure to be candidates for album of the year (and muse if they hurry up)
