To be honest I think Jay-Z will pull it off. I'm more put off by the Verve and where as I might be intregued to see what Jay-Z is like live I'd rather stick pins in me eyeballs than watch The Verve. For me that Sunday headline slot is what most people I know are pissed off about. What I really don't want to see is any animosity between fans- that would be a disaster. Anyone worried about Jay-z can send back their tickets in protest and/or to buy tickets for the O2 fest If it's that important to them.
