Oasis' Noel Gallagher assaulted in Toronto

Guitarist attacked during V Festival gig

Mon 08 Sep, 2008

Noel gets shoved in the back - theres no other option but for him to go over. The guy then turns to go at Liam who jumps out of the way. Security then pile on the guy. Liam then could have stayed where he was out of it all, but decides to go up to the bloke and chin him. Thats my assessment of it anyway.

Oasis say 'Coldplay are trying to beat our record' - Tabloid Hell

The rockers reckon Chris Martin and co. want their first week sales crown

Fri 23 May, 2008

Comments (1)

to be honest, I don't think that Coldplay have any chance whatsoever of beating this record for their new album. The atmosphere around the time of Be Here Now was fereish - people would have crawled over broken glass to get a copy on the day of release. There was a lot of excitement around the release of X&Y and even that didn't break Oasis' record. There is nowhere near the same interest for this release, although I have no doubt it will still sell very well. Oasis should concentrate on getting their own album out - that's what we really want to hear!!

The real joke is adding the "transaction charge" for tickets which are emailed out to people - what exactly does this cover? Anyone in the business care to tell us?
