Rapper rallies around the six who are being "treated very harshly by the law"

@thechrisare
He's not playing the "race card".
No one is saying that these boys should not be held accountable for what they've done. However, the fact remains that they are being charged with second-degree murder in addition to Conspiracy to commit murder charges for a provoked attack. Talk about the punishment grossly outweighing the crime. I mean, charge them with aggravated assault or something. The former charges could put six, promising teenagers in jail until they're well over 50.
But you have to look at the sequence of events clearly:
1) Black kid sits under the "White tree".
2) White kids hang up Nooses on the "White tree".
3) White kids serve a 3-day in-school suspension for their HATE CRIMES.
4) Black kids hold a peaceful sit-in protest.
5) DA threatens to make "...their lives disappear" in response to protest.
6)Black kid shows up at an "All-white" party: gets beat up. Dude responsible gets BATTERY charge and some probation.
7)White student threatens group of black students with a shotgun. Black students wrestle the gun away and are later charged with the theft of that gun.
8)White kid brags about how black student got beat up at the party he was at, taunts the former and allegedly calls him and his friends "niggers".
9)White kid gets beat up. He's out of the hospital and at a social event that night.
10) Six black kids get charges pressed that could having them facing up to 100 years of jail time.
Please tell me how you see absolutely no bias in this town. In the charges. In the DA. It's ridiculous!
