Gallows London pub show marred as singer is 'groped'

Frank Carter instructs the audience to 'destroy' the venue

What a tw@t! Seriously, there is nothing "Rock n Roll" about what he did. Funny how his antics get more reviews than their music at a gig. Proves what we already know, their music is complete and utter tripe. If only they had decent enough songs to let their music do the talking!!!!!!!!! Lets all hope they get dropped by their record label for being idiots before their next album comes out!!!

Killers' UK and Ireland arena tour sells out in hours

All the tickets for the jaunt have been snapped up

Fri 10 Oct, 2008

I wonder how long it would have taken to sell out if touts didn't get their hands on at least 50% of the tour tickets!!??Unfortunately nowadays, bands can't take pride in their tour selling out in x amount of hours because its not a true account, touts just buy the tickets to make a quick buck and thats what makes them sell out so quick. Shame.Demand is there no doubt for these bigger bands but the real fans lose out and have to pay double the odds, if not more on sites like E-bay.

Fans slate Kooks' Luke Pritchard over Arctic Monkeys feud

Singer slated after revealing Alex Turner beef

Who really cares!!?? But if you do, musicians should let their music do the talking and if that was the case, Arctics would win hands down I'm afraid. The Kooks are 1 trick ponies in my eyes.Simple As.

Oasis songs leak online

Three Gallagher tracks for new record appear on internet

As a massive Oasis fan these songs are pretty damn good. Great to hear "Stop The Clocks" finally. No doubt should these songs be officially released as b-sides, a-sides whatever, they will be alot better than these demo's. "Record Machine" is my fav, great song. I have to admit I find "Nothing on you" not that striking and rather average tho. Liam's voc's are just not what they used to be, even since he had his teeth knocked out in Germany. That said, great to have the big boys back showing all the new middle of the road excuses for bands how it's done. All the people on here who slate them, when you have achieved what they have in your life, come back and post your comments, us fans may respect your comments a little then! The boy's are back in town (soon)!!!!

Pete Doherty jailed for 14 weeks

Spokesperson tells NME.COM he's 'looking at appeal'

I'm no fan of Pete or his music but I do feel for him with his problems.Let us however, get one thing straight.....he is not a musical genius or a legend! In comparison to people like Noel Gallagher or Damon Albarn for example, Pete has achieved nothing compared to them. He hasn't even written a song that will go down in rock history so how can he be a legend? His problems get more coverage or talked about than his music does and if he was a musical genius, surely it would be his music that was talked about more. The only people that think he is a legend are the young-un's. One day they will look back and wonder why they were into him. Will his music still be talked about in 10 - 15 years time like Noel's is for example!!?? I think not. Case closed!!!!!

Glastonbury tickets still on sale

Limited number of tickets up for grabs

Mon 07 Apr, 2008

Three main reasons I would say:1. Ticket prices are going up and up every year and food/drink prices inside the festival are shocking. Therefore it can make the average total spending £300+ which alot of people can't afford. 2. The weather most of the time is a wash out and people don't want to pay the money to get wet and muddy and have to camp when they can watch it interactively in the comfort of their own home nowadays.3. Like it or not, the headliners will play a big part in this aswell. Having been many times, Glasto is not just about the headliners and has so much more to offer but people who are looking to go for say the first time, will probably judge the festival and make a decision on the strength of the headliners and unfortunatley this year, they won't attract the same interest as many of the previous years and this has shown in the ticket sales so far.I hope everyone who goes has a great time tho.

Glastonbury demand down because of 'middle range' Jay-Z

Michael Eavis blames lack of big headliners for slump

No surprises here then! Ticket demand is bound to be down if you book Jay Z at Glasto. Although he is a great artist in his genre of music, he is not a Glasto headliner. Its almost like a "heres who you could have won" Glasto this year, look at the possibilities there were: Radiohead - new album, ideal time to headline Led Zep - Having just played a comeback show another ideal headliner, maybe they cost too much! Rolling Stones - Again, maybe they cost too much. Then the usual - Oasis, Coldplay not only spring to mind most years, they also have new albums out soon so again, ideal opportunity. Dissapointing Mr Eavis and going by your comments in your interview, you kind of know that already.
