I'm sorry, I'm not being pedantic for the sake of it, but calling Chuck Berry a "Legendary blues guitarist" shows a gross lack of appreciation who he is and what he means to popular music. It's even more inappropriate than it would be to refer to Kurt Cobain as a "Legendary heavy metal guitarist", and I'm sure the NME know enough about Kurt to realise that would be very silly indeed.Chuck Berry pretty much defines rock 'n' roll, having written and recorded some of the genre's most notable songs, and he almost single handedly influenced a whole generation of white kids to pick up guitars and write rock 'n' roll of their own.
