Hot Chip 'free downloads hurt small bands'

Band say the music industry is 'in turmoil'

I don't think the idea of giving away free music is the problem, after all isn't that what music is all about - getting it out there so people can hear and enjoy it.The problem is these new fads and gimmicks coming out like music on pen drives etc. What's wrong with a good old fashioned CD or download.

Usher: 'Noel Gallagher wrong about Jay-Z at Glastonbury' – Tabloid Hell

Jay-Z - great businessman but he isn't strong enough as an artist to headline Glastonbury. You might as well get P Diddy or whatever his name is today.

So a guy who gets caught driving without a licence and has 4 different types of drugs on his person gets less than a mate of mine for non payment of a fine.I'm a Pete Doherty fan but you have to question this stint in prison. Hopefully he can stay away from the drugs and get on with his music.

Kings of Leon may not be big enough but they are certainly good enough. This is the big chance they need to prove to the world how good they are. I have seen Arctic Monkeys, The Killers and The Verve in the past year and if they can headline Glasto then i'm sure Kings Of Leon can. Best live band i have ever seen. The Verve were very poor at their Blackpool gig, wasn't impressed. I can feel another Oasis type set. I'd have rather seen Kanye West headline than Jay-Z.
