Beer was £3.50 but they were giving you a 10p refund for all empty cups being brought back... That provided for entertainment in itself as Piss heads were running arount collecting empties off the floor to afford there next pint, classic. There was no violence of any sort even duringh the techincal problems, I had great banter with plenty of people from all walks of life. The only heavy handedness was from the security staff trying to stop people cross no mans land into the front pit but again this provided for half an hours Great Entertainment as they were jeered and boo'd. Wristband is a Must Must Must, get there early, get the wristband. Then go chill out in the field and enjoy the warm up acts if they don't have man flu....!!!

I was at the Gig last night in the Front Pit where the atmospehere was electric, unlike the generator. Technical faults happen but it didn't spoil the night at all. Liam and Noel gave it there all as way of compensation and that was enough for me. One of the best bits was the walk from Heaton Park back in to town with thousands of people the banter was brilliant. Lets hope the "1950's Generators" quoted as being said by Noel will survive the weekend. Wristband into the Front Pit a Must for Saturday and Sunday. Live on Oasis and Manchester Music.
