Vacant0, don't deny yourself the cohen gig. He came to my hometown, tickets were announced at the same price and I thought EXACTLY the same as you. Then two weeks before the gig my Dad announced he'd like to go for his 60th Birthday pressie and the venue luckily released tickets. £145 it cost me for the both of us and the concert totally and utterly blew me away. A set of 27 of the finest songs I've ever heard live (and I'm an avid gig-goer) it was extraordinary and uplifting - almost spiritual and moving....and I do not use those terms lightly. I've managed to get hold of a copy of his O2 gig last July on CD and its bringing back all the memories. IT WAS AMAZING. Do not deny yourself this gig. I've paid £50 before to see a band play 15 songs!!! This cohen gig was worth it and at a drop of a hat I'd defo see him again. Google the review of last year's tour and you'll find i'm not alone in my opinion. Go on....take the plunge.
