B-sides and live recordings set for new package
Fri 07 May, 2010
R is a great album, I've just been listening to it again recently. Feel Good Hit of the Summer, Auto Pilot, In the Fade and Monsters in the Parasol are amongst favourite QOTSA songs, the albums good enough to get a reissue. The last two albums were great; Lullabies... is my favourite album of theirs and Era Vulgaris had its moments (Suture Up Your Future still gives me goosebumps).Oasis are shit, but don't mess with Queens. Both of you are idiots.

Bassist to replaced by 'illustrious players'
Mon 10 May, 2010
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!Fuck! This is disappointing. I know Interpol don't seem like a band that's full of personality, but Carlos D is a character and he will be sorely missed. He also some great basslines over the years and I don't see how they can really replace him, he was pretty integral to their success in my eyes.

Reading West MP meeting festival chief Melvin Benn
Sat 26 Sep, 2009
I think the situation is fine, those of us who are just relaxing around a campfire aren't getting interfered with and those cunts putting aerosols and tents on the bonfires were getting shutdown by the Police pretty quickly. Thing is, it's the end of Summer festival so masses of people are looking for it to get hectic, and that is not gonna change.

Band speak to NME.COM about eagerly awaited third LP
Thu 21 May, 2009
LOL, The Strokes created indie, never thought I would hear that.Anyway by the law this album is going to be average, but they've got a new look so nobody will notice, I'm sure the NME will make a big fuss out of Jamie's moustache like they did Brandon Flowers'.A bit dissappointed they're going down the 70s rock route rather than something a bit more interesting. C'est la vie.

Mon 18 May, 2009
As much as I like radiohead, them going into the studio isn't really seismic. It'll probably be a few years before they perfect the ambient sound and the drum loops. It's gonna be a long wait.

that's not really fair "shityourlegoff", any band than has international tour commitments and an affinity with environmental issues is bound to meet hypocrisy at some point, it's not like a band can just stop touring.

Fri 15 May, 2009
TBH Labour needs new leadership but Brown is still better than Cameron or Clegg in my eyes. If only he'd stop smiling and be himself again. Everybody complains about slick politicians, like Blair, Brown comes along and suddenly he's not photogenic enough.

Colin Greenwood says band are looking forward to 'dark' headlining set
Tue 31 Mar, 2009
It's gonna be amazing I just hope they play Climbing Up The Walls and Sail To The Moon and all will be right with the world. Sunday looks kiler Vampire Weekend, YYYs, Bloc and finally Radiohead and as long as KOL play exclusively from the first 3 albums on the Friday (never gonna happen) it should be sterling.

He may be almost as funny as noel gallagher.New song from the vid sounded pretty standard nothing to get excited about, but then again the monkeys have never been really about musical innovation. It'll be interesting to hear what Alex has to say lyrically, see what on his mind these days. They seem like a very self aware bunch so the might pull it out of the bag, but I'm not betting on a Kid A anytime soon. Wank Bank...lol

well it had to happen eventually... it sounds like a (bad) b-side from the last album, and I do not hear the the QOTSA influence anywhere, and when did alex join suede.

I'm seeing them at Werchter next week and i can't believe Radiohead "fans" are complaining. In Rainbows is a great album, and its brilliant that they are not just churning out the hits every night and resting on their laurels. Sure Karma Police wouldn't go a miss, but to make up for it they playing Climbing up the motherfucking walls. Stop complaining. You can't blame them for wanting to freshen the set list up and its not as if the quality's dropping.
