Apple to shut down iTunes?

An argument over royalty fees is due to be settled soon

Wed 01 Oct, 2008

Comments (1)

If I deem an album good enough to pay money for, I certainly don't get it from itunes. I have an iPod, and I use itunes to update it, that's it, I don't even have an account. Anyone who buys music from itunes is either ignorant of p2p sharing, or on their moral high horse. Itunes does far more damage to the music industry than free downloads, so if it does shut down, good riddance.

Coldplay follow Oasis with Thursday album release (June 12)

Is 'Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends' the new 'Be Here Now'?

Thu 12 Jun, 2008

Comments (1)

Be Here Now was, at best, an average album. So was X&Y (Coldplay's third album), however, after a couple of listens to Viva la Vida, it's already clear it's much better than both.

Elvis Costello never to play 'England' again

Thu 08 Nov, 2007

If he wants to swim in circles round his luke warm swimming pool, let him! He won't bother me while he gathers algae, it's just a shame he's given up pushing himself and trying to excite audiences.
