REM reissue debut album to mark its 25th anniversary

'Murmur' gets the deluxe treatment

It's a classic, one of my favourite albums. There more recent stuff isn't the best, although the latest was a bit foa return to some kind of form, but there early stuff, this in particular, is quality. I'd say if you've not heard this and are not sure about REM based on their early stuff then get this when it gets its UK release - or just buy the original album now for about a fiver probably!

Exactly - beat me too it. He's got less than 3 hours of tunes down in about 8 years and he's fannying around with Mark Ronson eating barbecued dog. Sort it out - the time is right.

Old Trafford (football not cricket) - surely not though.Underneath Picadilly where they do the Warehouse Project would be mint but it's not big enough.Heaton Park - nobody plays there but it's massive and Radio One did some kind of One Big Weekend thing there a while back I think.Looking forward to more news, hopefully it really will be somewhere totally different.

I'm not being funny, Gallagher is a legend, but is he onto Claims Direct here or something. Fucking hell he got pushed over not run over. Soundedd, I wouldn't get too excited that Brum show mate - it could well get pulled unless Noel has had his pay out the way he's going on with this one.

"neither of their albums stand up to def maybe and morning glory"Jesus, neither of their albums stand up Standing on the Shoulder of Giants and that's a bad one!Kaiser Chiefs are basically a group of adults playing McFly songs. In a way they are ahead of their time, but only because they are giving you a glimpse of the 2026 Busted reunion tour. One or two decent tunes do not make up for the rest of their shite output, some of their lyrics make Liam's efforts on Little Jame look like Bob Dylan! They probably wouldn't be quite so annoying if he didn't come out with this shite - that said he's probably done it to wind up dickheads like me!

Good. This is a good thing.Very sad for anyone who handed over their hard earned and they have my genuine sympathy. But may I be thefirst to wish the owner's of this firm and their families a very miserable Christmas. The horrible, greedy, selfish, spineless b#st#rds. Can only be a good thing if more firms of this ilk went down the plughole. Most people will probably get a refund anyway as firms like this charge over £100 to watch the likes of Northern Uproar at the Leatherhead Dog and Duck!
