People really need to get over Oasis it's not 1994 anymore, there are lots of new bands around who are ten times better than Oasis ever were, their set at Glasto in 2004 was diabolical and I think anyone who saw it ,who doesn't wish to one day sick their head up Liam or Noel's arse, could see that. Find a new band to glorify, one thats going to actually release some good music and not just sit round like some old men trying to be like their heroes and sitting criticising other musicians for doing something different. Leave the 90's behind, it was good, but its over.

Guitar legend passes away from heart failure

R.I.P Bo Diddley who'd have thunk buying your album on the off chance at music zone could have given me so many hours of musical pleasure you could have given me, a true musical legend

'We have to respect each other' says the Glastonbury headliner
Tue 13 May, 2008
I hope Jay-Z puts on the best performance ever because all the people criticising and making a fuss will have to eat their words, especially Noel. And to be honest it won't be hard for him to give a better performace than Oasis did back in 2004!

Now the R&B star has weighed into the debate
Tue 06 May, 2008
Well I think it's not only Noel that needs to open his tiny little mind but a lot of the NME readers too, stop causing a fuss over something that isn't that big of an issue, so what if Mr Eavis decided not to put a run-of-the-mill indie band that will put on a mediocre performance and can be seen any night of the week. I may not rate Usher as an artist but he's only speaking out against people judging and being too blind to see past their own noses. If you don't want to watch Jay-Z at Glasto then don't, simple as.

Michael Eavis calls Noel Gallagher's festival views 'weird'
Sun 04 May, 2008
I think Noel needs to open his mind a bit more, the whole essence of Glastonbury is the fact that you can get different acts like James Brown, Paul McCartney, Shirley Bassey and Neil Diamond playing the same stage as bands like Oasis, Muse and Kings of Leon. The variety and choice of different acts is what makes Glastonbury the best UK festival and all this fuss is a bit ridiculous. Jay-Z will be an amazing headliner, much better than the shambolic Oasis headline performance I saw in 2004!

I really like the Ting Tings, they were really good on the NME tour in leeds, far better than Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong! So what if they only have 2 members it's far better having 2 and making decent music, Blazing Squad had 10 members and look what happened there!

Tom Clarke labels the Sheffield band as 'dull'

What is the need for bands to slag each other off? Get a grip! The Enemy would make much better use of their time trying to write some half decent songs rather than stirring up trouble, then we might get some interesting news to read about!
