Jack White and Alicia Keys stream Bond theme online

You can hear the collaboration now

hmmm, its not bad, but its not good either. The chorus actually sounds like Sugababes, which obviously isn't a good thing, and it doesn't compare to Chris Cornell's amazing bond theme last time around. 5/10, and i'm feeling generous!

Manic Street Preachers support Doves in London

Bands play in honour of Heavenly record label

Sat 13 Sep, 2008

Comments (1)

yeah you probably are the only one thinking that unfortunately. Not doubting the fact that the Manics are an awesome band, but the 6 songs they released under Heavenly are not in the same league as any of Doves' back catalogue. Doves are by no means "dull and average" simply because their albums sound so different to anything else around, and they are an incredible live band.

Mark Ronson lashes out at Noel Gallagher

Producer hits back at Oasis leader over 'three chords' comment

Noel Gallagher is an expert fisherman, with just one little comment he catches multiple artists who feel they need to react. Its a work of genius how he can piss off so many mediocre artists in such a little space of time, excellent work Noel. haha

Jay-Z raps about Oasis' Noel Gallagher Glastonbury spat

Read what the rapper had to say about the guitarist

Thu 07 Aug, 2008

blah, blah, blah. Jay Z wasn't "Fantastic at Glasto". In a couple of years his headline slot will be completely forgotten about, and i'd be surprised if he ever headlined it again. Whereas Oasis will headline Glastonbury again and again, as much as people say Oasis haven't written a good album since "What's The Story...." They continue to have at least 3 good songs on every album, and "Don't Believe The Truth" was something of a return to form, and I am more than looking forward to Dig Out Your Soul. So Oasis have a massive back catalogue of hugely popular songs, and so will always be worshipped! Noel has put a line under the whole fued, Jay Z just needs to grow up.........and shut up!

Keane 'ignore the rules of good taste' for third album

Band reveal all about 'Under The Iron Sea' follow-up

Fri 01 Aug, 2008

Keane have been "ignoring the rules of good taste" from day 1. NME please stop encouraging them by writing about them, it would be far nicer for them to just slip away silently. haha
