It really annoys me, this whole luxury festival thing. Half of the festival experience is roughing it for a weekend, not having a proper wash and looking/smelling like a skank. All these luxury packages cater for are wannabee celebrities with money. Its so annoying that festivals now sell out before anyone s announced too - proof that its not about the music anymore, which is a pretty sad thing. That said, Id never defend touts - they are out of order and its such a lazy, dishonest way to 'earn' money. The ticket exchange thing is a pretty good idea though I think though. Hopefully it'll work and see real music fans get the tickets.
