I've been going to Glatonbury for about 8 years now but decided last year would be the last. The increased capacity seemed to completely kill the spirit of what was once a really special place. Despite the fact we were all crammed in together getting stuck in traffic jams going to and from the main stages, people just didn't seem to have any time for each other. The usual shouting and hollering through the night in the campsites was non existent. I don't think it's true to blame the weather because haven't muddy glastonbury's often created the best atmosphere's? Last year i spent a lot of time seeking refuge in lost vagueness but apparently this year thats going to be scrapped. Seems such a shame to get rid of the genuinely unique parts of what is becoming a completely un unique festival. Like Neighbours after it moved to channel 5 i guess it's just another thing that's let me down...
