I have worked for virgin megastores/ zavvi for the past 5 years and they have been awesome- I love my job. However with the economy as it is it is vital for you consumers to go out there and buy CDs and DVDs rather than downloading because downloading will only aid in the death of the cd. I fear for the wallets of the consumers if worst comes to worst and zavvi disappears, as you will only be left with the 'dog' and with no direct highstreet competition they will be able to rise their prices even more. Well to our loyal customers, our regulars, the people who appreciated our service and chose us over the dog, I hope to see you soon.Thank you n good night x

I have worked for virgin megastores/zavvi for the last 5 years of my life and may I just add they have been awesome. I'm afraid that if we do go under the consumer will only be left with the 'dog' and the dog will be able to higher their prices due to no direct highstreet competition. I guess CDs and DVDs will become a dying technology within our life times and there will be no need for record shops, as the consumer you guys need to invest in these shops that are all struggling and stop dpwnloading
