I was one of the people behind the glass, getting steadily pissed on JD and enjoying the music. Thanks for a good afternoon!

I don't feel too cheated - I got paid to work behind the bar all day, then went on my break just around 'Just' and got to watch 'Climbing Up The Walls'. Which made it much more bearable to spend the best part of the day beleaguered by drunk forty-somethings who'd just bought the greatest hits a week ago and were wondering why the speakers were malfunctioning.

Personally, I think that for the rest of time, Glastonbury's line up should be: Friday - Coldplay (10 hour set), Saturday - Radiohead (10 hour set), Sunday - Oasis (10 hour set). There will be only these three bands. No other genres will be considered. There will be only one stage, other than a small tent where purveyors of non guitar/indie music will be ritualistically sacrificed to the Gods of John, Paul, Ringo and George. So endeth the lesson.

I can barely speak or stand this morning, but it's a small price to pay ...That show took the biscuit. I don't think I ever want to see the Foos again - it would be humanly impossible to improve on last night's show!

Reuben go on indefinite hiatus

Camberley band call it a day

Fri 06 Jun, 2008

A casualty of a British public who will only listen to music if it fits into their specific 'scene' or 'niche'. Reuben were too melodically orientated to fit into the British Hardcore scene, yet too heavy to fit into the 'indie' scene. It's a shame to see such an inventive act call it a day.
