At last. It's great, all my favourites like Creep and High and Dry will be on one album and I won't have to wade through all the dodgy squonking ones anymore.

This is a fantastic album up there with the likes of Gene Clark's No Other. Definitely worth hearing: a strange multi-faceted jewel of that while it's of its time, still sounds great now.

'Supernatural Serious' is premiered online

Nice start. That guitar riff sounds really special - as arresting as What's The Frequency Kenneth. It's a shame, then, that the rest is a little tepid and generic.

Got to admit they have a point.... I wonder who they're talking about though. Reading those lyrics I reckon it's The Kooks... What does everyone else think?

I think that Mick Jones' taste in collaborators has declined somewhat... The Libertines, Primal Scream .......... and then way, way, lower ...... and a bit lower ... and a bit more ... hard-Fi

It's a real shame that Blur haven't got back together.... at their very best as a four piece they're one of the most innovative bands ever from Sing, through Oily Water, This Is A Low, He Thought Of Cars.... A true one-off band...

Morrissey announces greatest hits tracklisting

'Best Of' to be released in February

Thu 10 Jan, 2008

Comments (1)

This doesn't seem to be very representative... most of it is from the last two albums with the two singles from Viva Hate. Suedehead The Best Of, is much closer to a career round up, even if it doesn't have the magnificent Life Is A Pigsty

Well, even the knuckle-scraping sub-primate chatter of Kasabian has got to be better than Zane Lowe's inane excitement about *everything*.

I used to love this band. Then I saw them when they played earlier this year and it was a bit of a let down to be honest. I guess I should just go back to the first three albums.
