Good shortlist, i'm glad they haven't put boring rubbish like Doves and White Lies on it. I really think Late of the Pier should have been nominated, underated band. Don't think Florence should be on it tho. Kasabian to win!

"The Jesus and Mary Chain? My Bloody Valentine? Both those bands are far more important than Oasis could ever hope to be". What a load of rubbish, if not so much musically, culturally Oasis are probably one of the most important bands of the last 20 years, love or hate em i don't think anyone could deny that, in terms of their cultural impact there hasn't been a band like them since, my bloody valentine and the jesus and mary chain were great bands, i wldn't say they were important though.

Thank God!! I just want to put it out there that i think Muse r the most over rated band in Britain at the moment. Boring songs, unoriginal dull riffs, rubbish cliched lyrics, horrible voice. Why the hell do ppl love em so much?

Babyshambles, QOTSA, Bloc Party - find out who else will be playing

Mon 31 Mar, 2008

apart from rage and the manics that is a very boring line up, do they really need bloc party to play virtually the same slot two years in a row? Festivaless summer for me this year.

Hmmm not unexpected, doherty is gonna b raking it in with new 'shambles album out too. The track listing is missing music when the lights go out, narcissit, good old days and mocking bird.
