Never been on NME site before - just googled RHCP to see if they had disbanded and found this. There are a lot of intolerant people here. Just because something is not your cup of tea doesn't make it shit - that's just playground stuff. Saw RHCP in Derby on SA tour. Sound was rubbish, hardly any light show - but they rocked with an energy and enthusiasm that I have not seen for years. I don't understand most of the lyrics and AK is not the best singer live but they were still awesome. Gonna listen to my itunes now - possibly sone RHCP or maybe some Sugar Hill Gang or The Kinks or even some Hawkwind. Might even try that classical CD I bought. The point is that there is not really any shit music - it's just stuff that you may not like.
