Pink Floyd shunned by Glastonbury? - Tabloid Hell

Eavis says no to Gilmour's offer to perform this year

How many tickets will be available on the gate then?Even if they're going for the 14-21 age group, the type of festival-going music fan is equally/more likely to want to see Dave Gilmour (or should do if they have any taste at all!). A lot of the people seeing Jay Z at 02 Fireless fest or MK Bowl etc probably aren't going to glasto because there isn't much else they'd see.Why not have headliners including Radiohead/REM and Springsteen/Dave Gilmour and then there's a chance tickets may actually sell out in hours rather than not at all in two months.

My mate's girlfriend had the misfortune of having to be Mr Pritchard's waitress just over a year ago. As far as I know she's not the biggest fan of indie so recognised that he was in a band but made the mistake of asking him "are you in a band?". Instead of being polite and answering her, he told her to "go away" or "leave me alone" and ignored her....I've also heard Alex Turner got ejected from the Vine (where unsigned bands play) in Leeds for antics involving paper aeroplanes!! At least he wasn't being a rude bastard to anyone though...

The lineup would be have to be absolute dire to justify going to Jay Z purely to bottle him rather than going to see anyone else (and there's bound to be at least 3 other acts that most people would rather see - or even more depending on how much you hate Jay Z).

Took us 8-9 hours (half of which consisted of non-stop rain) - glasto security eventually sorted us a coach - which wasn't their responsibility (to be fair they did a fantastic job). Due to leave at 9am....got back soaked through at 11pm..... Not good....
