Oasis' Liam Gallagher: 'Heaton Park will better Knebworth'

Singer speaks about forthcoming hometown gigs

Mon 01 Jun, 2009

I'll be there at Heaton Park. It's no normal gig, this is pilgrimage for Oasis fans. The chance to see GOD (Noel) perform where it all started. Oasis are playing to 750k this summer, no one else could do that. We all know, deep down, Oasis destroy any other band that has ever existed.

Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne: 'I don't like Oasis'

Singer also hates Arctic Monkeys, Duffy and Razorlight

Mon 15 Dec, 2008

Comments (1)

Its because band like the Flaming Lips thinks its cool to make rubbish experimental music. Oasis rule. The bloke from the Flaming Lips is highlighting his insecurities as he knows the UK rules for music. All the greats are from the UK. USA has jack all except wacko jacko! - Bealtes = the past, Oasis=the present, Arctic Monkeys= maybe the future but they'll never be as good as Oasis

BLUR SPEAK: 'We are reuniting for Hyde Park gig' – Exclusive

Damon Albarn and co tell NME 'it just felt it was right again'

Tue 09 Dec, 2008

Comments (1)

I'll be shocked if they could fill Hyde Park. They only had about 6 good songs, Coffee and Tv being the best of the bunch. And they would sound rubbish in a stadium. The other 3 nobs in the band must have been broke and begged Damon to reform. I guess when you dont sell many albums you have to try and scratch a living somehowDont expect any Take Thatesque legendary comeback!

Oasis' Liam Gallagher disappointed by Kings Of Leon

Singer brands the Followill clan sellouts

Fri 31 Oct, 2008

Comments (1)

Liam is 100% right. KOL were average at best on their early albums, had a few killer tracks. This new LP is them trying to make themselves into a stadium band and it sounds shiite. Use Somebody would not be out of place on a Coldplay album. That how low they have gone in order to make the $$$. They'll be on X Factor soon. Liam is the man!

Tue 19 Aug, 2008

Comments (1)

Look folks,If the album was 10 tracks of Liam reading different passages from the Bible, the Dictionary and a Health and Safety guide A) It still would be quality and B) They'd sell out Wembley Satdium in minutesBut I love Shock of the Lightning. It sounds great. Best comeback single since Do You Know What I Mean. Hope i can grab some tickets for tommorow.

Nice one Liam - He provoked reaction just like he wanted. Why pay for a publicist when all you have to do is open your mouth.I like radiohead. They are nothing special. I like many radiohead fans to, but Oasis wipe the floor with anyone past or presentLong live Liam

Kaiser Chiefs say they're not trying to replace Oasis

Bandmate sticks up for Ricky Wilson

Fri 06 Jun, 2008

I think after the Liverpool 08 gig they realized they were completely out of their depth playing to more than a pub full. It was embarrasing to see how none of the crowd sang back to Ricky or sang along with any of the tracks because they are diabolical. They'll all be in the priory next week

Oasis' Noel Gallagher: 'Jay-Z wrong for Glasto'

The guitarist says hip-hop is 'wrong' for the British festival

Mon 14 Apr, 2008

Comments (1)

Noel is no racist!he hates hip hop like people with any brains should doHere is a quote from noel in 2005 -"NG: I fucking despise hip hop. Loathe it. Eminem is a fucking idiot and I find 50 Cent the most distasteful character I have ever crossed in my life. It's so negative. Eminem's new song about his kid - isn't it the most ridiculous piece of music you have ever heard in your life? I just don't like the dragging women around on dog leads and all that stuff. I'm not fucking having that. "
