At least something positive came of this - they BOTH canceled shows, but if you pay to see puppets lip-sync you're fucking stupid anyway.

Music industry claim 95 per cent of all downloads are illegal

New report calls for ISP's to be stricter on culprits

Fri 16 Jan, 2009

If the record labels weren't so greedy in the first place we wouldn't have this problem. It's appalling what they pay the artists. I'd rather not give my money to them. There is a benefit of illegal downloading; its caused listeners to find new music and not just listen to regurgitated rubbish in the pop charts.

Puff Daddy is like a parasite that feeds off talented artists like Biggie Smalls by over exploiting them. If anyone is responsible for his death it is Puff Daddy.

Metallica hit back at 'Death Magnetic' CD quality claims

Band's manager speaks out about the debate

Thu 25 Sep, 2008

The albums Mr Rubin produces are generally loud, which is what Metallica wanted. Californiacation is probably one of the loudest songs ever. It's ok to have a loud album if it is done properly, from what I have heard it is. There hasn't been any dynamic range in any contemporary songs since the early 90s, now with mp3s it’s even worse, so I don't know what the fuss is a bout. This seems like a slightly sophisticated topic for NME to be writing about...

Oasis' Noel Gallagher: 'Jay-Z wrong for Glasto'

The guitarist says hip-hop is 'wrong' for the British festival

Mon 14 Apr, 2008

You tell 'em Noel. Although I don't agree entirely, a headlining hip-hop act could be good i.e. public enemy, a tribe called quest etc. Jay-Z doesn't stand for any of Glastonbury's values; money, guns, cars, bling, I don't think so..... F#@k off back to the US!

Glastonbury tickets still on sale

Limited number of tickets up for grabs

Jay-Z has officially ruined my summer, if we were in America I'm sure we'd be able to sue, right? I registered for Glastonbury in hope that another good headliner would be announced, but no. I don't care about the whether, or the coaches, or the ticket price, I just don't want to see a S**t pop-rapper. No wonder why Reading sold out so fast........ I got mine.
