Robbie Williams says he will rejoin Take That

'We've already done bits and bobs,' he says

Wed 04 Nov, 2009

Comments (1)

This is exactly why I am not going out of my way to read the NME anymore. Take That? Robbie Williams? Does anyone really care. The legend reads NEW MUSIC, and hopefully music one could be POSSIBLY interested in. Normally I would check NME.com each day for music news, but I've had enough of this. I am going to find another site to read which doesn't want to make me throw a brick through my laptop.

Nirvana's Reading Festival gig to be released on DVD

They cover 'More Than A Feeling' and 'Star Spangled Banner' during the show

Mon 20 Apr, 2009

Comments (1)

Strange ... I am reading this now, but I am actually holding a copy of this gig as I read. It's not a bootleg (per se), but I'm guessing it's not 100% official (I bought it in South America).

Blink-182 reform for new album and tour

The band choose the Grammys to make their comeback announcement

Mon 09 Feb, 2009

Comments (1)

What filthy hypocrites they are. They are no more punk than Britney Spears. They split and blast all of the material that they recorded, pissing all over their fans (I ain't one, but I remember this), and then they reform and hope that everything can return to "the way it was." The Gods of Punk must be rolling in their graves.

Guns N' Roses' Axl Rose: 'Slash or I will die before we reunite'

Rose says there is zero chance of a reunion

Fri 06 Feb, 2009

Comments (1)

What a pretentious prick Axl Rose is. As if anyone gives a shit about his band anyway. I'm never a GnR fan, but at least I respect Slash. Hopefully this fucker will die first and that will be the end of it.

'Top Of The Pops' to return in 'post-'Blue Peter' timeslot'?

Campaign to bring the programme back permanently is launched

Tue 27 Jan, 2009

Comments (1)

It's a shame ... Even if it was not normally to my personal taste, Top of the Pops used to be a great place to see some bands on the television. X Factor, High School Musical and all of those performers already have enough time on television.Soon the music industy will implode. And I think that is what it needs.

The Zuton's first single on Deltasonic was incredible. Devils Deal. Along with those early live shows they were amazing, but then it was a slow decline.

Damon Albarn: 'Blur reunion is possible'

Albarn scuppers rumours he is preventing reunion

Thu 06 Nov, 2008

Comments (1)

I would think those who make inane comments (Caponee) are dickless incompetants who support Oasis and have only heard Country House and Stereotypes. I hate to restart the old Blur/Oasis argument, but Blur were leagues ahead of Oasis, discovering new ground, changing direction where Oasis churned out the same thing over and over again. A Blur reunion will happen in time, I want it to happen as much as these people in the posts above me (with the exception of Capussee), and below me too, probably. It's just a case of when and where. These things generally are not rushed with Graham and Damon, so I guess we'll just have t wait and see.

He has a good attitude, I like it.Country music is torture to listen to, all except one artist from the 70's called Judee Sill. I thoroughly recommend her. You will not even think you are listening to country music.

Prison cell pictures of Pete Doherty appear

British newspaper published camera phone pictures

Wed 16 Apr, 2008

Comments (1)

It's a shame - mobile phones are banned in prisons, so it's most likely to be a guard who has taken the picture. (Whereas inmates do posess mobiles illegally, they are only need them to call and send SMS so a modern phone with a camera is mostly not needed.)Of course, there will be an 'internal enquiry' and the culprit will lose his job, but the damage is done. Of course the prisoners are giving him unwanted attention, Pete should be rehabilitating and sticking to his methadone program. It's another example of how low a newspaper The Sun actually is. To quote fictional reporter Rita Skeeter 'Why I could manure the contents of my garden with that rag.'
