I was at the gig and thought it was great! It seemed the gig was for the people of leeds as much as for kaiser's fans but i guess the two go hand in hand to an extent. I really enjoyed Kate Nash despite the negative comments, she was really enthusiastic and warmed up the crowed magnificently. To the lads behind me who chanted 'get your tits out', as soon as she come on, i would like to say 'well done' i was incredibly impressed with your wity articulation of your your desire to witness the nude female form, lets hope one day it happens

My Chemical Romance fans: 'Songs don't cause suicide'

Music fans speak out over 'emo suicide' furore

Tue 27 May, 2008

Yay i was quoted! Although i was very drunk whilest sticking in my two peneth it is an issue that lots of us appear to be passionate about and it is fantastic to have a place where debate can be held in an open and fair manner. Although most of us did not agree Jertum's comments he/she/it was able to express them all the same giving anybody without a preconcivied opion a chance to formulate their own. The problem with papers like the daily mail and the the express is that they state their opions in big black print in every supermarket and news agents in the country so when they give their opionion on a contentious issue such as immagration, abortion, or suicide an impressional person will read it and jump on the band wagon, even if they're not completely sure why. Unfortunately i can't make the march on saturday but implore all the people going to express themselves peacfully before emo gets blaimed for knife crime

My Chemical Romance speak about 'emo' suicide

Any body who claims that a band is able to make someone commet suicide is niave and igronant. If some hits the ultimate low that they feel death is the best option than the music they listen too is the last thing on there minds. For all of you who are fortunate to of never of suffered from deperssion, who have never had suiciadal thoughts enter there heads, i can only say you have no right to comment on something you will NEVER understand. Personaly i do find solace in MCR lyrics. The theme on the latest album makes me think there are people and famielys dealing with bigger issues than what's going on in my head. i dont have cancer or other problems on such a scale and nobody here knew hannah so how dare you be so flippant about her problems you presume this one band defined her life. MCR are just a band. Even at 13 people realise that. There are many issues within society that need takling, knife crime and the increasing gap between rich and poor are exsamples, expression of fears and emmotion through music are not. If anything, although i'm not a fan of emo, it should be encouaged, because this country has a problem with the youth having a voice and its not emo encouraging suicide and its not everyone in a hood encouraging voilence

Glastonbury chief responds to Oasis' criticism

Michael Eavis calls Noel Gallagher's festival views 'weird'

I think people are getting distracted by the main issue here, fratellis so high up on the bill? they suck arse.Although i don't agree with noel here, i'm always happy to here what he's got to say, he has earnt the right to comment on on the state of music today because he has helped shape it, if it was the muppet from the enemy running his mouth off again things would be different. Jay-Z will be a good headliner, he has had loads of experiance and knows what he's doing on the stage. It will also be really exciting to see KOL step up to the big time. On The John Peel stage you have the Cribs headlining and if you're not excited by that then you haven't seen the Cribs live before. Finally to the person who said 'All those execs at Glastonbury only care about money' go to the glasto web site and look at the worthy causes section. Then apologise.

I agree. Best Solo Artist? Playing a guitar which is drowned out by a massive band and whoever is on vocal singing song wrote by other people. If there was an award for biggest knob however...
