ok, so i supposedly qualify as an emo, based on their definition.... and I know a fair amount of others that fit it too... and we all smile, we're all happy people! maybe its just because here i have freedom of expression, but i don't like being labeled as depressed and suicidal because of the way i dress... government buildings i can understand, a total respect thing as far as piercings go, i take mine out for work, no big deal. for all those that don't like emos, if you don't like it, don't look at me! but we accept the rest of you even tho your not like us, so be decent and do the same! point is, there are plenty of non-emos, that are suicidal, and depressed, and in most cases, even if you make it illegal to dress in that style, those kids will still probably be depressed, your not getting rid of the problem, just hiding it. If you want to fix it, actually solve the problem, don't just cover it up!!
