Glastonbury reveal 2009 ticket scheme details

Plus price for next year's festival announced

Glastonbury sold out at 2pm on the Friday of the 2008 Festival. I like the £50 deposit scheme, this is good thinking on the part of the Glastonbury organisers. £180 does seem a lot, but in comparison with last year I think it's a £15 increase which was somewhat expected and is around about the same increase of most other festivals for 2009. It is after all the biggest festival of them all, so the price reflects this. Anyway, I attended Glastonbury 2008 and it was absolutely the best, so I'm getting my £50 deposit in there on 5th October.
