Pompous twat! Refers to it as an "experiment" as if it's all part of his master plan and then refers to projects as "cool shit". You're a nerd pal. Don't try and fob it all off as some esoteric project. Job Knockey,

Stranglers man brands Metallica 'silly'

Hugh Cornwell stands up for file sharers

Fri 09 Jan, 2009

Comments (1)

I love the Stranglers and have followed them for years. Hugh has struggled to find commercial and critical success since leaving and, though his last album was pretty good -I took the free download- his problem is that people don't really WANT to hear him. Therefore he HAS to give it away to find the audience whereas Metallica's music IS wanted by those poor fools and that means that the illegal filesharing did cost them financially. They protected their interests but made themselves look silly in the process. If Hugh was seriously out of pocket by illegal downloaders then his point of view might be different, but it doesn't matter either way to him. Behave Hugh and go and write some decent songs. Whatever happened to.................................
