This highlights a much bigger problem in music; managers and greedy artists are too quick to get to the payday (planning full live diary before theres anything to play) and dont spend enough time actually developing the bit that starts the whole process - ie making a record thats any good. this is one of the main reasons that new bands / artists are burning out faster than ever and have no longevity. try walking before running people, you wont fall flat on your face so much.
