T.H.E H.I.V.E.S ...What an amazing show. 100 % better than i predicted it would be. I went to see The Fratellis on Sunday, which was good but i'm afraid i have to say The Hives officially topped it! I'm still trying to figure out where they get all the energy from. It's amazing. The atmosphere at Rock City last night was electric, and that begun when they walked on stage...Howlin' Pelle Almqvist is such an amazing, charismatic frontman. Nicholaus Arson plays guitar like a madman. Every gap between songs there was banter, nobody could understand them, but everyone made some noise. Best song?? It's gotta be Hate To Say I Told You So. I could see these guys headlining Glastonbury. I don't think anyone will agree, but anyone there last night will agree. I think they perform better in intimate venues but they's be amazing at Glasto.I would recommend The Hives live. Anyone who was unsure about getting tickets, you missed out. I'll be going to see them again, whether i have to go to London, or even further afar. Wasn't sure about the support though (Check ot Henry Fiat's Open Sore on myspace. If looks could kill, their frontman could've taken the whole crowd out)We Rule the World (T.H.E H.I.V.E.S)? They most certainly do.
