Alex Zane is really nothing more than a pretty boy. At least Simon Amstell has a spark of with about him and knew when to stop fucking about. It always struck me that most bands had some respect for him (apart from Preston obviously, but you can hardly expect him to have respect for anyone when he clearly has none for himself) where Zane really does just come across as a bit of a nob.
