He's not that far off (but should include solo artists like David Bowie, Jimi, or Chuck Berry for completeness).1. The Beatles2. The Who3. Led Zeppelin4. Pink Floyd5. The Rolling Stones6. The Smiths7. The Beach Boys8. Love9. Joy Division10. The Kinks11. The JamVelvet Underground was probably as influential as many of these also, and completely left out The Ramones!
