Fantastic pearls of wisdom here. Harry, why dont you just say 'The music industry is fine everyone! Does anyone want to know the size of the advance Polydor gave us after a much contested bidding war between all the major labels? (who also were all at our first ever gig)'I dont know if there is a future for the music industry if it keeps giving hundreds of thousands of pounds to douchebag pseudogoths who less than a year before their first gig (which had an exclusive audience of industry and press people) were singing happy songs about routemaster buses and girls to hordes of spoilt west london teenagers.Tossers.

Whoever dreamt up the idea should be put in jail for even attempting it- channel 4 should stick to what they know- tmobile transmission etc. Cheap rubbish music tv that always ends up being cancelled after a couple of years.

Radiohead to release 'Best Of' compilation

See what tracks have made the cut

Wed 02 Apr, 2008

Comments (2)

wheres lurgee?this isnt such a bad idea, for all those casual radiohead fans that know 'creep' and nothing else, this will help them learn more about the bands music and maybe encourage them to go look at the back catalouge. And BTW, making money is what record labels do. If they didnt then bands like radiohead couldnt get signed in the first place. So a 'best of' was inevitable, get over it you geeks (what you expected them NOT to release one?)- and its not like the band are not making money from this as well..... If having 'best ofs' out is an issue then dont sign that record contract in the first place.Anything that helps gets more people into radiohead, and yes that includes 'heat magazine readers' is ok in my book.
