here we go again... another band that have contributed nothing to music history dishing out an opinion that nobody is interersted in on one of the biggest, most influential and most successful bands in music history to raise their own little profile. @ Steve Kemp - piss off you muppet. This is a tribute gig for their lifelong friend and mentor who was often referred to as their 6th member. All the proceeds are going to charity. And after selling over 300 million records (yes, that's probably 299 million more than you will ever do) I am sure they do not need a last pay cheque. They have turned down numerous reunion tour offers over the years with amounts mentioned that were obscene. Why - because they got integrity and have more cash than they'll ever need. Robert Plant said recently that this gig only came together because Ahmet's wife asked them to do it. They are going to do nothing special on stage, but they don't have to as their music is special enough. Bands nowadays too often forget that, and pretend to be something just to overshadow their rather average talent. Zeppelin had talent in abundance and that's why Monday will be awesome. I can't wait and rest my case..
