Be Your Own Pet split up

Band confirm forthcoming tour will be their last

Fri 01 Aug, 2008

A real shame, their album is great. Hopefully they will continue to make music...possibly Jemina just wants to go in a different direction lyrically.

Duffy: 'Illegal downloading is a good thing'

Singer says online sharing puts 'music in people's lives'

Tue 29 Jul, 2008

Comments (1)

She makes a very good point. I have, in the past, downloaded music illegally, usually because I wasn't sure if I'd like it. Through this method, I've discovered so much new music...music that otherwise i may never have discovered. So yea, I suppose I kind of agree with Duffy.

Radiohead, Robert Plant lead Nationwide Mercury Prize shortlist

Plus Alex Turner scores nomination hat-trick with 2008 nod

Tue 22 Jul, 2008

Radiohead deserve it! They are the most innovative band out there. Constantly pushing the boundaries in all aspects of their work. If they don't win in, Laura Marling should. She is a fantastic talent.

China restricts foreign performers after Bjork's 'outburst'

Government says it will ban artists who 'threaten national sovereignty'

Thu 17 Jul, 2008

Comments (1)

The Chinese Government is a joke, they're just further binding themselves into this little bubble of "if anybody speaks out against us, they're out!". Never has and never will be a reasonable way to run a country. Go Bjork!!!

Muse begin work on fifth album

Matt Bellamy and co start writing songs for next release

Thu 29 May, 2008

Comments (1)

They had better go back to their Showbiz and Origin of Symmetry era...cos if I'm honest, BH&R was terrible. "Invincible" was possibly the worst song I've ever heard by Muse. Appalling. I'm hoping their 5th album will be good!

Gig ticket prices 'should be more honest'

Consumer body calls for companies to stop hiding booking and postage fees

Thu 29 May, 2008

Comments (1)

I agree. The amount of times I've been rushing for a ticket, and £20 soon becomes £26 because of "transaction fees", "booking fees" and "postage". Radiohead tickets for their gig in Manchester, which I can't wait for, were advertised by ticketing companies at £40, but were closer to £50 in reality! It's a disgrace.

"Get Awkward" is amazing even without these songs. But still, I think I'll buy this when it comes out.

Wow! I'm surprised people in these comments are disappointed- this album is amazing!!! I absolutely love it! Even the rework of Videotape is growing on me. I LOVE 15 step, even though I didn't think I would. It's a classic album.

Radioheads new album: how much will you pay?

Band are letting fans choose how much to spend on 'In Rainbows'

Mon 01 Oct, 2007

Comments (1)

Many of these songs have been kicking around for ages, and the live tracks have been on repeat on my iPod for what feels like forever. I am so happy with how they've released this I can't even begin to explain. Perfect. Although I suspect the double album means maybe it's their last, I am still in awe and adoration of their work, in music, and also for their fans.
