The Reverend slams Lily Allen on file-sharing debate

Frontman says 'Don't lecture the kids'

Well done Rev for completely missing the point of her rant, she wasn't complaining for her sake (at least not just her's) but for the smaller bands. Way to get involved on just a quick glance of a headline, now go away.

Arctic Monkeys bring 'Humbug' to Leeds Festival

Sheffield four-piece play stunning set despite minor technical setback

Fri 28 Aug, 2009

Comments (1)

That was an awful set and everyone in the crowd knows it. Seven songs off a new album? If you want to do songs off the new album do a winter tour. Summer festivals, as pandering to the masses as it sounds, are for the songs everyone knows and loves. That was a truly terrible set with absolutely no enthusiasm from the band.

Any bet taken that 'Faith' will be the B-side to every new single. 'Coz they're bringing back real rock donchaknow so they won't be messing with their classic single format.

Heading off to see them for a fifth time, I was afriad I wouldn't be able to come away saying 'they get better every time'. They were fantastic LCCC and topping that was going to take a lot. But friday night was mind blowing, quite honestly the best I've ever seen them. How they can keep it up I don't know but can't wait for their next gig

Reading And Leeds Festivals: Rage, Metallica and Killers to headline

Babyshambles, QOTSA, Bloc Party - find out who else will be playing

Mon 31 Mar, 2008

Got tickets after about an hour, and then managed to get two more about an hour after that using the same secure part of the website (helpful hint, get the payment part website address, copy it, send it to yer friends) and got confirmation this morning.Looking forward to it but not as jazzed as I used to be when I got festival tickets. Maybe it's the line up, maybe I'm getting old, maybe its the lack of sleep over the last 24 hours...Line up is good but nothing is gonna beat 2005 headliners (iron maiden, pixies, foos). I think 2005 might have ruined every festival from now on for me.

The Killers to headline Reading and Leeds Festivals

'We love playing in England,' Brandon Flowers tells NME.COM

Mon 31 Mar, 2008

Glad to hear it, but does this mean another Killers Karaoke Hour? Leeds 2005, Brandon barely sang a word. At least it'll be a good ole sing-song to end the weekend, nice!

Arctic Monkeys, Take That, Foo Fighters take Brit Awards

Plus Rhianna and Klaxons team-up and Amy Winehouse makes comeback

Thu 21 Feb, 2008

"the ceremony boasted several notable collaborations, though it was Klaxons and Rihanna who stole the show." What show were you watching? Sure they have fancy lights but the song was awful. Still good to know the Klaxons have a career as a backing band if the whole nu-rave thing falls flat.
