"Kelly Jones is one of the only great british songwriters left with Gallagher n Weller" - OK, i'll give you Paul Weller. He's been writing great songs for over 30 years, full respect. Noel used to frequently admit that his songs meant nothing, and if we're honest, Oasis are more miss than hit with their songs these days. But Kelly Jones, a great British songwriter? Don't make me laugh. The guy is full of shit and so are his songs. He's nowhere near the likes of Weller. And I can't believe you mentioned Noel and Kelly Jones, but not the likes of Bono or Thom Yorke. I'm not saying i'm a fan of theirs, but they wipe the floor with Kelly Jones and Noel in terms of songwriting. And although he's not that popular, Scott Matthews is one of our best writers at the moment as well. Kelly Jones, christ almighty. I'm still laughing....

Fair play to Kelly Jones. He gives Chris Martin a real run for his money in terms of being a complete cock.
