I'd be pissed off too if I were him! His U.S. tour was AMAZING. I went two nights last week and I was thoroughly impressed and fell madly back in love with the Pumpkins. I've always loved them but now it's like I've found a new favorite band and all I want to do is listen to them... after 15 years of listening. Billy owns the stage and treats his guitar like his bitch - he's a bad ass talented musician and should be appreciated. The musicianship and all around talent they've got on this tour was so great to see and just solidified why I've always loved them - because they kick ass! If fans walked out or didn't like the set list, then I agree with Billy and I didn't want to be around those people at his shows either. No one I saw was disappointed. My jaw was dropped the entire show, as were my husband & best friends - and that's a rarity. My new favorite Smashing Pumpkins is the band that just goes fucking crazy up there. Billy & Jimmy are truly talented and with Ginger & the rest they have a great band around them. I'd go see them again in a heartbeat.Billy, as long as you keep on doing exactly what you want to do and putting that out there for your real fans, I'll always love you :) No one wants a bunch of sunshine when they can have your gritty angsty hotness. Come back to SoCal soon!
