Coldplay: 'We DID NOT rip off Cat Stevens!'

Will Champion bullish about plagiarism claims

Fri 08 May, 2009

Does nobody realize that since there are now 3 artists claiming to be ripped off by Coldplay, doesn't that mean those 3 artists "ripped each other off" too? (If these accusations are all right) That means Satriani ripped off Stevens, or Stevens ripped off Satriani. I don't know which of those two came first, cause I really couldn't care less. Stevens sounds like Phil Collins in my book.

Muse aim to include 'hardest song ever' on new album

Trio reveal work on new record is already underway

Wed 26 Nov, 2008

Oh is it Muse's turn for needless hate now? I wasn't aware the kiddies were off on them already. People confuse confidence for cockiness, ambition for pretentiousness, and "they're just a poor man's radiohead"? What does that even MEAN? Yes, in their early days they DID have some similarities, but what about now? You honestly want to say Fury or Take A Bow sounds anything like radiohead? They're one of the best live bands, incredibly diverse, and constantly changing. You can naturally not enjoy their music by opinion, but hating on this band's talent is blasphemy.

The Killers play surprise gig in London

Band preview five new songs at Royal Albert Hall warm-up

Sun 02 Nov, 2008

What's with this "hating the killers just because they're the killers" deal? One can not like a band's sound, but to say they're one of the "worst bands in the world"? That's far too drastic.

Katy Perry hits back at 'knife outrage' story

Singer mocks tabloid newspaper with new picture

Mon 27 Oct, 2008

Why must everyone insult Katy Perry just because she's Katy Perry? She's a lady who writes music. Her music got big. So what? Wellduhobviously, her response was, in fact, very witty. Renders your sarcasm as partial truth doesn't it?

Strokes' bassist plays debut solo hometown show

Nickel Eye perform first of two CMJ shows in Brooklyn

Well, Beatle_Matt, I remember when people used to listen to bands not just because they were cool. Interesting concept isn't it? Listening to a band cause they sound good. Wow. My god it almost sounds like absolute ludicrous. Shame on me. Anyways my point is, Beatle_Matt, shutup.

Oasis' Noel Gallagher slams 'The X Factor'

'Danni Minogue wouldn't know talent if it kicked her in the arse'

Tue 14 Oct, 2008

I'm not quite getting all these claims of oasis being "not relevant" anymore. How can they not be "relevant"? They put out albums as consistently as they ever have, they tour the world, so what's the issue? As for the claim of "dad rock", is it cause they're older? Does that imply you're assigning age to good music? Tis a shame.

Las Vegas band set for biggest arena tour to date

Trashy Chick I wasn't quite aware that they've become a "crap band". They've continued to steadily churn out good (if not better) music. In a world of indie pop I'd say the Killers are quite the refreshers.

Oasis to give away new song

Fans who pre-order 'Dig Out Your Soul' will get free download

Wed 24 Sep, 2008

I'm getting somewhat annoyed with what's happening with records. I mean seems you can't even get A RECORD anymore. It's always "exclusive tracks here" and things like that. Like the whole bloc party deal. The download deal just adds a whole 'nother level of mayhem over this. I guess having a cheaper "simple" album could hike up record sales, but thats a whole different problem.

Eyewitnesses speak after Noel Gallagher V Festival attack

'Noel just fell to his knees, his guitar made a big thud'

Mon 08 Sep, 2008

Honestly why do people who don't like others find the obsessive need to pursue their ruin? The pusher is essentially a waste of air, and his proper place is out of existence.

Oasis' Noel Gallagher assaulted in Toronto

Guitarist attacked during V Festival gig

Mon 08 Sep, 2008

I love how people are making fun of Noel as if given THEY were in the middle of a song playing to thousands of people they'd be looking around prepared to be pushed. I don't care if you're 7 foot if you were sucker pushed without noticed and you'd still be face first.

Oasis' Noel Gallagher bigs up Ryan Adams

Gallagher says his tour support is 'pretty cool'

Thu 04 Sep, 2008

Why do people refer to Oasis as "has beens"? Aren't they still churning out music and preforming just as much as those "younger" bands? Age discrimination has no room in music, so just because you don't like them (and they've been around for a while), there's no need to refer to them like that. If you don't like Oasis, simply don't click on the new article. Quite simple really.
