Reading And Leeds Festivals bans flags

NME.COM wants to know what you think about the decision

Great decision! This year's glastonbury festival was the worst I'd seen flags-wise, they were everywhere! It really did seem unneccessary and unfair on everyone else. Can we also ban people sitting on other people's shoulders?

Fans accuse bouncers of being heavy-handed at Pete Doherty gig

Crowd members from Southampton gig claim security was 'over the top'

I am all for moshing, po-going, crowd surfing, human pyramids etc. do whatever its all fun and that and in most cases I feel it neccessary to do this to enjoy the music, but is it really neccessary at an acoustic gig? I went to see Pete and it was very much enjoyable but I didn't feel the need to jump up and down to a song being done on an acoustic guitar? It just didn't provoke the same reaction from me that a Babyshambles gig would because its not as hard or as fast. It was an immensely enjoyable gig but I just can't see how you can jump around to acoustic music? Surely it would be as enjoyable stood about with a pint in your hand?

Oasis' Noel Gallagher 'outraged' at Russell Brand BBC scandal

'It's hardly offensive' says guitarist about radio debacle

Noel is talking so much sense here. The Daily Mail has dictated the tone and it is ludicrous. plus totally agree about people jumping on the bandwagon. initially there were what 1000 complaints, suddenly days later there is 18000? have all those people actually listened to it and how many at the time of broadcast? what the hell is wrong with this country if you can't make a joke

Fans' ultimate Oasis setlist revealed

Noel Gallagher isn't going to like your top choice

I don't mind them dropping live forever- summit had to give, they've so much material and personally I see it as more of a stadium anthem than one for the smaller venues. Saw them in Bournemouth last night- sensational!
