Jo Whiley damn well knows what is/was going on, I see that she is being protected by the BBC. Reason why. If she was recording a section of her show in order to be elsewhere at a function then she would know that there are no listeners or audience members. Then she would know in all certainty that who ever has rung in has been in collusion with her and the producer in order to effect a genuine scam, as the section of show had NOT been broadcast. Jo Whiley should be sacked, or should play a lot more Frank Zappa, Mother of Invention, Can, Led Zeppelin, Stan Tracey, and Tubby Hayes on her show.
