Last night was rubbish. I think RH decided to do a 40,000 person gig in a way to spoil it for the touts. There were loads of tickets available at face value, so job well done there.Too bad that then ruins it for fans actually there for the music. It allows for too many drunken wankers who just want to go to an outdoor gig to wreck other peoples' nights. The crowd was a disgrace on so many levels and don't think a different setlist would have changed that. I would guess only a small percent of the people there were real Radiohead fans as opposed to casual concert-goer. It was awful.I've seen RH in venues ranging from 300 to 5,000 people and I have to say it- they're not a big venue, big stage band. They are brilliant technically and sound amazing, but are boring onstage unless you're in a position to see a lot of the little things they do, because that's where they're interesting. Thom Yorke is a brilliant singer and song writer, but it completely boring to watch.Needless to say, I sold my tickets for tonight's gig.
