Well said A_Dis - popularity is usually just an indication of how gullible the public are. It would be like saying that the Sun is the voice of Great Britain. It might be the most popular newspaper but it doens't mean it's not a rag.

I don't think either mick hucknall or noel gallagher are particularly good adverts for manchester. Both Gallagher brothers are under the mistaken attitude that being 'hard' is a good thing and is important, and Hucknall is also painfull egotistical. Hucknall's at least got the grace to say he'll retire in two years. maybe Oasis should quit before they soil the good memories any more. NEITHER SIMPLY RED NOR OASIS MATTER ANY MORE. FACT. PERIOD. END OF STORY.
