I've just checked the list over at Planet Rock. Once upon a time it would have been considered 'rockist' (for people who don't know music history pre-1991, that means predominantly white boy guitar music). Now judging on their remit, this is exactly what Planet Rock covers, meaning no pop, soul or r'n'b or reggae, but no women? No Siouxsie Sioux, Jennifer Herrema, Courtney Love, Kat Bjelland, Skin, Shirley Manson, Grace Slick? Wtf?
