Noel is a very unique guitarist, the music for masterplan isnt even based on standard chords - he makes most of his own chords up, especially in the early stuff. I think his guitar playing is special, its very unique, but technically, there are better guitarists around. I saw him in an interview saying that he isnt the best guitarist. Thats not bad considering John Lennon admitted to the same thing.
