Cant wait for the new album, shaping up to be a good one well hopefully.Although I think the first single is really good, its not a massive departure from the usual Oasis single, big verse, even bigger chorus, lots of hooks. Not that thats a bad thing, its just rock n roll un all that. However, it sounds like Noel is trying to build this up to be an all new & experimental Oasis? I think the battle Oasis has is not in their music i.e. the guitars, drums, chords etc....but in there lyrics and delivery. The first single sounds different from the usual Oasis when it first begins...but very quickly develops into the usual Oasis sytle of things.....with lyrics and delivery like, love is a time macchhhhhine & in good time e ine e ine e ine etc etc Liam sounds wicked on it & always sounds like he is larger than life, buts its the lyrics and delivery that make Oasis sound predictable. Im not saying they sound go all Radio Head on us, but if they want a new sound they sound mix the lyrics and delivery up. Maybe they will....all roads point to October 6th.
